Summer hair reflects effortless beauty. This seasons haircuts allow easy styling and are easily put together. The pixie cut is very in right now, as well as angled and short bangs. The bob, always a strong summer staple, is back this summer and hotter than ever! Go for asymmetry--try one side longer or raise the back and lower in the front. Color trends this summer steer away from the look of spring with rich, solid colors and focus more on the traditional bright and vibrant highlights of the past. Strawberry and even platinum blonde hues are in this season.

Make-up this season also reflects the same type of effortless beauty as summer hair. Satin skin is back, replacing matte finishes; cream foundations will help achieve this look. Go easy on the bronzer! Last summer, the sun-kissed look was taken to an extreme. This season, a gentle contouring of the forehead and cheeks is all you need. Look for red lips in cherry, raspberry, and fuchsia, but stay away from straight-up fire engiine red or anything with brown undertones. The smokey eye is back in as well as lots of dark liner--brown works best on most women for summer. Summer is short; make most of your time in the sun by keeping up with the latest trends!

As we find our selves with Spring at our door step and summer right around the corner its time to think of the up coming change in style.

short hair cuts are fuller bodied pixie cuts reminiscent of the sixties, mid length classic bobs with strong lines are still going strong and long hair is getting more layered and textured. Things should stay fun and flirty, with a not to hard to maintain look.

Reds are all about multi-tonal but still keeping a soft lived in look, Brunettes are either dark and romantic or muted with golden peekaboo highlights and Blondes are natural looking with a lot of buttery tones. Style is all about soft and often multi-textured (i.e smooth top with rough ends)

Also with the weather changes happening your hair is more likely to dry out and as the temperature rising so is the likely hood of split ends. To stop this from happening you need to get glosses added to your color and try to get a deep conditioners when possible. Starting to protect your hair now will pay off in the summer time, with healthy, shiny, smooth hair.

Make up is all about color. We’re seeing a lot more smoky eyes with the use of blues, greens and purples instead of blacks and greys. There is also a lot of vintage with a bright colorful twists to it. Its all about not being to serious and having fun with your spring colors.

Baby it’s cool out side… and cooled down temps equal hair color with cooler, more sophisticated tones. So color that hair to match the weather, cool hair color: blue or violet tones, such as platinum blondes, ash browns, and plum reds.

Brown haired girls are showing off... Think Megan Fox, Mandy Moore and Fergie..

Winter hair for that brown hair will overall have a cooler base. Dark, chestnut based hair color will look natural, clean and cool! Do the chocolate brown you have always thought might be too plain, cause guess what, that’s it!

Blondes are going Platinum! Think Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera.....

I know…the cost of achieving and keeping the perfect shade of blonde, REMEMBER a women’s hair color is the most important, most-seen accessory you can get and can make or break your entire look!

Celebs are going red! Think Jessica Alba, Isla Fisher and Ashlee Simpson...

It is totally cool to be a Winter Redhead! It will be more playful and beautiful than ever! Deep red tones and a few cool highlights throughout to enhance the red even more.

My oh my where does the time go. The summer flew by, now fall is here and winter is quickly approaching. That can only mean one thing the return of school and the season for dry, frizzy hair.

Summer is officially over. Back to school time for most. Everyone needs a new fall look. Time for color changes and hair restorations from summer damage. Summer is almost over.....
Wow and its been a good one. So many great things happening for the salon. Our websales have increased dramatically. We received tons on new clients. We also got nominated as Best stylist and Hair salon in Southern California. We will post the show in Sepemteber and the show will broadcast for 14 months on KCAL and KTLA.
